Currently, the OPIc\u00a0covers 13 languages and five of them, English, Russian, Japanese, Korean and Spanish, are now available in\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.chinadaily.com.cn\/m\/jiangsu\/wuxi\/2016-08\/03\/content_26333621.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">China<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe system was introduced in\u00a0China because it contains evaluation tests for multiple languages, rather than a single language like other tests,\u201d said Li Peize, President of the Beijing-based Chinese Testing International of the Confucius Institute. \u201cIt was designed by more than 10,000 language experts around the world.\u201d<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nMore languages are being added regularly as the one-on-one interview system includes nearly 120 languages.<\/p>\n<p>The system was brought to China by Chinese Testing International and the stated-owned human resources agency China International Intellectech (Shanghai) Corp.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt CIIC, language skills are an important element in evaluating talent,\u201d said Xu Qin, director of the company\u2019s international educational training center. \u201cAnd by introducing the system, we wish to better serve our clients by providing them with professionals with excellent language skills.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.shanghaidaily.com\/metro\/education\/Foreign-language-test-system-comes-to-China\/shdaily.shtml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click\u00a0<\/a>to View Full Article<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Oral Proficiency Interview computer system (OPIc), developed by the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL), was recently\u00a0introduced in Shanghai to\u00a0assist\u00a0those seeking employment with international companies to\u00a0demonstrate their proficiency.
